Tony Thomas, former CIO of Nissan and a global Technology leader, has joined Signify as Chief Digital and Information Officer at Signify.
Signify, formerly known as Philips Lighting, is a Dutch multinational lighting corporation formed in 2016 as a result of the spin-off of the lighting division of Philips. It provides lighting for professionals, consumers and IoT.
Thomas is a global Information technology leader and digital transformation champion with 25 years of experience across sectors and geographies. He joined Nissan in 2017 and was responsible for managing all Information Systems, Information Technology, Data & Analytics and Cyber Security for all of Nissan brands across the globe. He stepped down as CIO of Nissan in March last year. He served as a senior advisor for Boston Consulting Group before joining Signify.
Thomas was earlier the Global CIO of GE and CIO of Vodafone. Prior to that, he was with Citi group for over seven years in various global leadership roles.
