CORE Media partnered with Google Cloud for an elite CIO Leader Board program. The session held on November 8 at The Pullman, Aerocity in New Delhi deliberated on overcoming challenges in a digital economy to deliver optimum customer experiences with a cloud first approach.

Digital transformation is rewriting the rules of business both in India and worldwide. Digital customer experiences deliver easy, effective, and emotional touch points that focus operations on what the customers value. Around half of Indian decision makers prioritize the improvement of CX and the simplification of operations, as top priorities in their business agenda.

Performance and scale are the top reasons businesses choose to move to the public cloud; they expect cloud to make them faster, more secure, more automated, and able to handle any spike in demand.

CIOs unanimously agreed that cloud adoption gets stymied by security concerns, legacy, technical debt, highly customized software and the complexity of systems. There are also lingering concerns around cloud security and availability.
